Over a four-year period, funds were raised to upgrade the old Bridgetown High School tennis courts into a covered multi-sports facility. The covered area was built first, then a year later, as funds became available, the old-asphalt was dug up and a high-quality Plexipave surface was laid. The sports centre came into daily use at the end of 2018.

To house all the equipment that is needed for the various games that are played, the final stage is the building of a lockable storage facility next to the covered sport centre. Currently, the staff and students need to carry all the equipment up and back from the ground level of the school to the sporting centre.

The school has so far raised $12,246 of a required $40,000.

A tax-deductible building fund has been set up to raise the money. Details of how to make a donation are set out below.
